Pay: $13.00 to $15.00 an hour

The Garage Porter provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Must have painting experience.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities/ parking garages.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to garage operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, light fixtures and equipment.
• Move boxes, furniture, crates and equipment, either manually or by using golf cart.
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Change light bulbs.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Wipe and clean elevator cabs.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Pick up trash.
• Work weekend as needed.
• Pressure washing.
• Painting curbs, lines and any other items that are needed.
• Clean cobwebs off light fixtures.
• Dust and clean stairwells.
• Count occupied garage spaces daily.
• Service garage gate equipment for minor repairs.
