Houston, TX:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Field Technician Level 2.
- Conduct pipeline inspections utilizing proprietary inspection tools based on Geometry, IMU, and MFL technologies.
- Lead all field-related activities, including ILI tool preparation/testing, launching and receiving procedures, and data downloading/translating.
- Confirm customer expectations prior to and immediately following inspection activities.
- Perform in-field inspection, run data verification, supplementary data confirmation, feature detection, and location analysis.
- Complete scheduled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of inspection tools and ancillary equipment.
- Ensure all project-related documentation is accurately updated and completed to support internal handover between operations and data management.
- Comply with all HSE, OSHA, DOT, and customer-specific requirements.
- Properly handle and dispose of all waste and harmful substances related to the scope of work.
- Maintain clean, organized, and debris-free shop and common work areas.
- Seek opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as required.
- Travel up to 80% as business needs require.
- Electro-mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to provide constructive input and solution-based suggestions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with full command of the English language.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Level 1 Field Technician Certification with a minimum of 12 months of experience required.
- Technical associate degree or high school diploma with at least one year of related work experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to obtain TWIC and Basic-Plus certification.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Capability to work in confined spaces and varying environmental conditions, including outdoor and industrial settings.
- Ability to travel extensively and work irregular hours as required by project schedules.
