A Janitorial Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning and maintenance operations to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained. A company car, cell phone and company credit card will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff and work schedules.
- Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
- Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
- Assign daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning machines and equipment.
- Respond to customer or tenant complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and document inspections.
- Coordinate minor maintenance and repair activities when necessary.
- Manage budgets related to cleaning supplies and labor costs.
