Project Manager - Commercial Flooring Coating; epoxy, resinous

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Houston area team, ideally with 3+ years in commercial floor coatings estimating or project management. A successful candidate will be highly organized and a team player who can deliver in a fast-paced environment. This role will manage all aspects of assigned projects from start to closeout.

• Establish a safety & people-first culture.
• Mentor, coach and develop all team members.
• Ensure complete bid & cost evaluation for each project, leveraging experience to look beyond the information.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with customers, project teams, architects, engineers, vendor representatives, etc.
• Experience in responding to RFPs and presenting a project formally.
• Perform job site visits to review existing conditions; partner with Operations & Field Management for input.
• Develop preconstruction meeting schedules & monitor progress.
• Present job cost, scheduling updates, and budget updates at regular intervals.
• Review all project documents for completeness & accuracy.
• Develop creative & innovative approaches and solutions on a project-by-project basis.
• Identify, adapt and resolve complex issues.
• Meet goals and metrics; lead, manage & motivate project teams during all phases of a project.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions to meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws.

• Advanced awareness of Construction Site Safety Expectations.
• High level of fluency reading plans, specifications & related documents.
• Actively monitor project goals & outcomes.
• Competent with Planswift, Procore, Building Connected, Plan Grid, MS Office Suite.
• Foster cooperation among all employees in the field & office.
