As a Procurement Expeditor, you will work closely with Development, Interior Design, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Warehouses, and Installation Teams to keep FF&E on track for new community openings and renovation projects. As we continue to grow and open new communities, the coordination of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) plays a critical role in ensuring our buildings are ready to welcome residents on opening day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and manage all FF&E purchase orders from issuance through delivery and installation
  • Serve as the primary liaison between manufacturers, vendors, freight carriers, warehouses, installers, designers, and internal project teams
  • Maintain comprehensive expediting logs including production status, ship dates, freight tracking, and delivery schedules
  • Proactively identify and resolve production delays, shipping issues, damages, shortages, or backorders
  • Coordinate receiving schedules and delivery sequencing to align with construction readiness
  • Review vendor acknowledgements, finish schedules, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy
  • Manage freight consolidation and white-glove delivery logistics
  • Track replacements, warranty issues
  • Participate in regular project meetings with Development, Procurement, and Design teams
  • Maintain organized documentation including POs, acknowledgements, invoices, bills of lading, and inspection reports
  • Provide regular FF&E readiness updates to project leadership
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience expediting FF&E for hospitality, hotels, senior living, or luxury residential environments
  • Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing timelines, custom orders, and finish approvals
  • Experience coordinating freight and warehousing for large, multi-vendor projects
  • Ability to read furniture specifications, finish schedules, and design documents
  • Advanced organization and tracking skills using Excel or procurement systems
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
