Contracts Manager

The organization delivers fully integrated logistics solutions spanning International Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Rail Freight, project cargo, and domestic U.S. transportation.
The business is a recognized leader in industrial logistics, EPC project forwarding, and complex supply chain execution, supporting major energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and capital equipment programs globally. Its operating model combines commercial excellence, technical engineering capability, and compliance-driven governance, enabling the delivery of high-value, high-risk project cargo across multiple transport modes and jurisdictions.
Job Responsibilities- Own and scale the U.S. Industrial Projects and EPC logistics platform within a globally established freight forwarding organization
- Hold full commercial accountability for U.S. project cargo revenue, gross profit, margin performance, and long-cycle EPC pipeline conversion
- Lead senior client relationships across EPC contractors, energy producers, infrastructure developers, OEMs, and industrial manufacturers nationwide
- Direct complex project cargo execution across international air freight, ocean freight, rail freight, heavy haul, and domestic trucking networks
- Serve as senior escalation authority for all high-risk, time-critical, and technically complex industrial shipments
- Oversee feasibility studies, route engineering, mode optimization, cost modeling, and execution strategy
- Lead tender submissions, RFQs, EPC bids, and long-term project contracts from commercial strategy through award
- Ensure fully compliant execution across customs regulations, export controls, trade compliance, sanctions frameworks, and contractual risk exposure
- Build, mentor, and retain a national industrial projects team with clear SOPs, accountability, and performance metrics
- Partner with U.S. sales, operations, customs brokerage, finance, and executive leadership to deliver repeatable, profitable project outcomes
- 12+ years within international freight forwarding or project cargo logistics with deep EPC and industrial project exposure
- Proven leadership ownership of U.S. or regional project cargo P&L and revenue growth
- Extensive experience executing complex industrial movements across air, ocean, rail, and domestic transport modes
- Established commercial relationships across EPC contractors, energy companies, infrastructure developers, and industrial manufacturers
- Strong commercial capability leading long-cycle tenders, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
- Technically credible in project planning, risk mitigation, deviation management, and claims control
- Compliance-literate with strong understanding of customs regulations, export controls, and regulatory risk within industrial logistics
- Comfortable operating at executive, client-facing, and hands-on execution levels
