The Senior Manager, Local Sales Growth Strategy will be a core part and leader in Sysco’s local sales strategy and will drive key initiatives across North America.
OwnershipYou’ll own key initiatives, projects, and work streams that will drive both top-line and bottom-line performance of our core local sales business.
Strategize and Problem-SolveBring new strategies and solutions to market that are supported by hypotheses, data / insights, and qualitative feedback.
CollaborationYou’ll lead projects in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment with teams like Local Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.
Analytics and InsightsYou’ll support high-priority areas in our Sysco business unit, including conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses on current performance and potential opportunities to improve local sales performance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and support the North America Local Sales growth strategy and vision for our multiple business segments.
- Lead initiatives to drive acquisition, recovery, and penetration improvement of customers
- Drive initiatives and work streams to make recommendation on best solution from customer and business perspective including content creation and end to end customer journey mapping. Present on growth roadmap sales and functional leaders
- Bachelors in an analytical field (e.g., Business, Economics, Engineering)
- MBA
- 5+ years working experience
- 5+ years working experience
- At least 4-6 years experience post MBA
- Experience in food service and B2B industries preferred but not required
- Engagement manager or Associate level with top-tier management consulting with significant case work in development and implementation of growth strategy
- Demonstrated ability to create a future state vision, test hypotheses, and synthesize insights
- Strong problem-solving skills to take an ambiguous problem and develop a structured and logical framework for define the problem, analyze the data, and derive insights and actionable recommendations
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity and guide the organization through it towards clear and decisive action plans
- Leader / Self-Starter with the ability to operate effectively and influence others in a matrix organization
- Experience shaping enterprise strategies and working with senior leadership to drive alignment
- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact with a P&L mindset
- Ability to structure unique problems and lead cross-functional teams in a way that enables the organization to make significant progress quickly
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with proven ability to establish credibility and influence executive-level stakeholders and lead through influence
- Professional attitude, service orientation, strong work ethic; superb team player
- Strong Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- English Required
