Our client is seeking a Director of Training & Development to lead enterprise learning strategy and execution across a growing organization. This is a senior-level role for a leader who can think big, build structure, and still roll up their sleeves to deliver meaningful, performance-driven training at every level of the business.
Responsibilities- Set the vision and roadmap for company-wide training and development programs
- Build, coach, and manage the training team while owning learning-related KPIs tied to business outcomes
- Design and deliver leadership development, frontline training, and enterprise initiatives using blended learning approaches (in-person, virtual, and digital)
- Oversee curriculum development and instructional design to ensure scalable, engaging learning experiences
- Partner with HR and business leaders on talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential development
- Manage learning platforms and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of participation, completion, and impact
- Use analytics and dashboards to measure effectiveness and continuously refine programs
- Coordinate training logistics, budgets, vendors, and external partners
- Collaborate with global learning and OD peers to align standards, tools, and best practices
- Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational development and workforce capability needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development
- 5+ years in a people leadership or senior managerial role
- Strong background in curriculum design, facilitation, and leadership development
- Experience delivering training across multiple employee populations and leadership levels
- High level of comfort with LMS platforms (ADP Learning preferred) and modern digital learning tools
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
- Ability to work within existing systems while continuously improving structure and effectiveness
- Background in industrial distribution, manufacturing, construction, or HVAC environments
- Professional certifications in learning or leadership development (ATD, CIPD, or similar)
