Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP function within a Shared Services model. This role is open due to a resignation and offers the opportunity to step in, create structure, and drive meaningful process improvements.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of 2
- Oversee end-to-end AP (invoice processing, 2/3-way match, payments, vendor maintenance)
- Manage AP month-end close activities
- Strengthen internal controls and support audits/1099 reporting
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, and Procurement
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- 5–8+ years of AP experience, including leadership
- High-volume, multi-entity experience preferred
- Strong controls and process improvement mindset
- Ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building operational efficiency.
