We are looking for a hands‑on, highly organized, and proactive Operations Supervisor to manage the day‑to‑day operations of our moving crew and fleet. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing every aspect of field operations—from ensuring movers are properly trained and prepared for each job, to managing supplies, maintaining truck readiness, and enforcing company policies. You will be the go‑to person for holding our team accountable to high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

The right candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys managing people and logistics, and has strong attention to detail. You should feel confident leading a team, solving problems on the fly, and making sure every move is executed with care, quality, and professionalism.

This role requires a blend of leadership, coordination, and hands‑on involvement to ensure things run smoothly from start to finish. Your work will directly shape how our team shows up, how our customers feel, and how our company grows.

Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Supervision:
  • Lead daily morning meetings to prepare movers for the day’s jobs.
  • Make sure every mover is in full uniform and dressed appropriately for safety.
  • Check trucks and teams when they return at the end of the day to ensure everything is in order.
  • Address performance issues or concerns promptly and respectfully.
Job Readiness & Scheduling:
  • Create and manage weekly schedules for all movers.
  • Confirm movers know their job assignments each day.
  • Fill gaps quickly when someone calls out or is late.
  • Make sure crews leave on time and are organized before heading to a job.
Safety, Quality Control & On‑Site Standards:
  • Make sure movers follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting and equipment use.
  • Ensure teams use the right supplies on each job to protect items and avoid damage.
  • Occasionally visit job sites to check on quality and professionalism.
Truck & Equipment Oversight:
  • Ensure trucks are cleaned, stocked, and ready each day.
  • Track vehicle condition and arrange maintenance as needed.
  • Work directly with mechanics or service providers to resolve any truck issues.
Inventory Management & Supply Ordering:
  • Keep weekly logs of all moving supplies and tools.
  • Track how much is used on each job.
  • Order and restock supplies on a regular schedule.
  • Keep the storage area neat and organized.
Reporting, Reviews & Feedback:
  • Submit a weekly report with updates on team performance, truck condition, inventory use, and customer feedback.
  • Hold brief monthly check‑ins with each mover to talk about how they’re doing.
  • Share suggestions for training, recognition, or improvement.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, moving, or operations supervision.
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills.
  • Very organized with good communication and time management.
  • Comfortable with hands‑on tasks, safety rules, and basic reporting.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast‑moving, physical environment.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but a plus).
Schedule & Availability
  • Must be available Monday through Saturday, including early mornings.
  • Occasional after‑hours response may be required if an issue comes up.
