Maintenance Coordinator

Location: 3131 Eastside Street, Houston, TX 77098

Hourly: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of community associations, ensuring exceptional service in maintenance, deed restrictions, client communication, and project management. Your goal will be to enhance the community experience through effective management and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and administration of community associations, ensuring compliance with management agreements and policies.
  • Supervise maintenance and projects, conduct regular inspections, and address issues related to facility upkeep and deed restrictions.
  • Oversee budgets, manage payments to vendors, and provide recommendations for capital expenditures.
  • Communicate regularly with Association Boards and homeowners, attend and present at meetings (including evenings as needed), and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Analyze and resolve issues, provide weekly updates on ongoing activities, and ensure timely and effective resolution of resident concerns.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong skills in delivering excellent service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective at identifying and resolving issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Education/Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of property management or facilities management experience is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
Additional Information
  • Work Hours:

    Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on‑call rotation and evening meetings as needed.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., with a mix of sitting, standing, and walking.

    Primarily indoor work; may require evening or weekend hours.
