Job Summary
The VP GM, Admixtures is responsible for the overall strategic, commercial, operational, and financial performance of the Admixtures business. This role provides executive leadership to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, safety, sustainability, and compliance standards.
The role has full P&L accountability and leads cross functional teams spanning sales, operations, technical services, supply chain, quality, and product management.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the short and long term strategy for the Admixtures business to achieve growth, profitability, and market leadership
* Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, customer segments, and product innovations
* Lead portfolio optimization, pricing strategies, and go to market execution
* Build strong partnerships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners
* Own P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost control, margin expansion, and capital efficiency
* Lead annual operating plans, forecasts, and multi year strategic plans
* Drive disciplined capital allocation and ROI focused investment decisions
* Oversee manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management to ensure reliable supply, cost competitiveness, and quality excellence
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence)
* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
* Partner with Sales and Technical Services to deliver customer centric solutions
* Ensure strong technical support, product performance, and field collaboration
* Represent the Admixtures business with major customers and industry stakeholders
* Sponsor product development and innovation aligned with market needs, sustainability goals, and performance differentiation
* Ensure robust quality systems, technical governance, and product lifecycle management
* Build, lead, and develop a high performing leadership team
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning
* Support succession planning and leadership development across the organization
* Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, collaborating across regions and functions
* Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethics, and governance standards
* Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership
Qualifications
* Ready Mix business experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field required
* MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
* 7+years of progressive leadership experience in admixtures, specialty chemicals, construction materials, or related industries
* Proven experience with P&L ownership and general management responsibilities
* Demonstrated success in leading multi site operations and commercial teams

* Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently with cross functional teams across multiple locations
* Strong strategic thinking and execution capability
* Deep understanding of admixtures markets, applications, and customer needs
* Financial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth
* Ability to lead complex organizations through change
* Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Working Conditions
* Travel to plants, terminals, quarries, and operational sites
* Ability to work in industrial environments requiring PPE
Physical Requirements
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
