We are looking for a high-level Project Supervisor to provide foundational field leadership for large-scale concrete construction projects. This role focuses on strategic oversight, project scheduling, and managing multiple crews to ensure timely, high-quality completion of the concrete scope of work.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Manage the concrete scope of work across construction projects, working closely with the Project Manager to meet critical path dates and milestones.
- Field Leadership: Lead and mentor Crew Leads and their teams, fostering a solid coaching and development system.
- Project Controls: Monitor project costs, review Change Orders, and provide accurate cost and schedule forecasts.
- Safety & Compliance: Implement project-specific safety and accident prevention programs through regular site inspections and strict adherence to safety culture.
- Problem Resolution: Identify potential site issues early and apply an "act now" mentality to resolve conflicts independently and promptly.
- Administration: Manage project close-outs, punch lists, vendor invoices, and utilization of company software solutions.
- Experience: 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience (Required) and at least 1 year in general construction.
- Knowledge: Vast expertise in concrete construction principles, practices, and scheduling across various trades.
- Communication: Fluent in English (Required);
Spanish speaking skills are highly preferred to communicate effectively with field labor. - Physical Ability: Must be able to walk job sites, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs in varying weather conditions.
- Compliance: Must be 18+, possess a valid TX driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Type: Full-Time, Hourly
- Schedule: 30-40 hours per week; includes day/night shifts, Monday-Friday, and weekends as needed.
