Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of assigned K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and owners to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor scopes.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and daily field operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and contractual standards.
- Lead weekly project meetings and maintain clear documentation and reporting.
- Support project team with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
- Foster positive relationships with school districts, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Experience with public school district procurement processes and working in occupied campuses.
- Familiarity with local Houston-area school districts and municipal permitting.
