Marine Field Service Supervisor – Houston, TX (Marine Equipment Service | Diesel Engine Repair | Service Shop Supervisor)

Mustang Cat is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Marine Services Department in Houston, TX
. This role is responsible for supervising technicians, managing shop operations, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across marine service activities.

What You’ll Do as a Marine Service Supervisor:

• Schedule technicians to efficiently expedite marine equipment repairs
• Monitor shop expenses and technician overtime
• Lead monthly safety and service meetings and maintain the branch safety folder
• Maintain bulk oil records and enforce shop cleanliness standards
• Oversee warranty repairs and ensure compliance with Caterpillar standards
• Address and resolve customer complaints and service concerns
• Ensure timely collection of all service invoices
• Open, edit, review, and invoice work orders accurately
• Communicate repair status with Product Support Sales Representatives and customers
• Represent Mustang Cat professionally both in and outside of the office

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Systems Management, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Ability to lead, manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, A/C systems, brake systems, and planetary gear assemblies
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, make informed decisions, and lead under pressure

Strongly

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Familiarity with Caterpillar systems (SIS, DBS)
