Salary: $45,000 - $80,000
Commission or Bonus Structure:10% of GP after seat cost

Position Summary:We are partnered with a growing logistics company located in right in the heart of Houston, TX looking to add an experienced Account Manager to the team. This role is essential to ensuring a high-touch customer experience for an established book of business owned by a Sales Executive. The ideal candidate is organized, sales anddetail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration across teams is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the customer experience from the moment a load is tendered through to final delivery with the assistance of a dedicated assistant
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer updates, changes, or escalations
- Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to understand the needs and expectations of each customer
- Work hand-in-hand with Carrier Sales to ensure timely and cost-effective coverage of all shipments
- Monitor shipments proactively and address service issues as they arise
Manage and maintain accurate load details in the TMS
- Drive customer satisfaction by anticipating potential issues and resolving them before they escalate
- Assist in the growing of customer accounts
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a logistics, brokerage, or transportation environment
- Proven success managing freight or accounts in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and prioritize competing demands
Experience with TMS systems preferred
- Experience with open-deck, over-dimensional, or heavy haul freight strongly preferred but not required
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Located in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX (onsite role)
