The Operations Supervisor oversees an organization's daily activities, ensuring that departments running efficiently. They act as a critical bridge between upper management and frontline staff, balancing strategic planning with hands-on management to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Managing employee schedules, conducting performance reviews, and providing training or coaching.
- Process Optimization: Identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement strategies to boost productivity.
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing operational reports for executives.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensuring all products or services meet quality standards and that the business complies with safety and industry regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of operational processes, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of supervisory, operations, or team leadership experience preferred.
