The Field Ops/Business Program Manager is responsible for managing a program in relation to the customer contract.  The Field Ops/Business Program Manager is responsible from the launch of the program until the end of all activities related to customer integration and customization.  This person achieves the pre-defined POR and expenditure.  In the case of internal programs, the Field Ops/Business Program Manager assumes full responsibility for the product from development launch to completion of the first manufacturing batch.

+ Drive service Product Lines selling process, seek and identify revenue opportunities, prepare tailored offerings and formal service proposals to potential customers (typically in SIS).

+ Communicate customer product requests and enhancements internally.

+ Describe the competitive advantages of our services in the market and how these translate to customer benefits.

+ Translate customers' current and future problems into solutions available through services.

+ Develop a thorough understanding of assigned customers and their business environments. Include corporate goals, five years plan, financial performance, core businesses, market direction, major competitors, industry trends, facilities and organizational structure.

+ Know customers' key decision makers, their personal wins, top goals and objectives. Meet with these individuals on a regular basis.

+ Provide program and project tracking for assigned tasks and customers.

+ Ensure that all project activities remain on schedule.

+ Identify project issues or delays and work rapidly to resolve them.

+ Define performance goals for the team, manage the team and attend to the members' career development.
