Position Summary for Legal Case Operations Lead - Up to $80k (DOE)
Our River Oaks client is seeking an experienced personal injury professional to serve as a Case Operations Lead for their pre-litigation team. This role is designed for a highly organized, solutions-oriented individual who understands the full lifecycle of a personal injury case and can help ensure matters continue progressing efficiently through each stage of the process.
What You’ll Do Operational Leadership- Monitor case progression and help ensure files continue advancing appropriately through the pre-litigation process.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and collaborate with team members to maintain momentum and case movement.
- Assist in maintaining consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across case handling practices.
- Serve as a trusted resource for escalated questions and complex case issues.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to case managers and support staff.
- Assist with onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
- Reinforce best practices and departmental standards to support overall team success.
- Foster collaboration and communication across the department.
- Review operational reports and case activity to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
- Assist leadership with maintaining visibility into team performance and productivity.
- Support departmental accountability through proactive follow-up and issue resolution.
- Provide recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and overall case outcomes.
- Help ensure clients receive timely communication and consistent experience throughout the life of their case.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and reinforce service standards across the department.
- Assist with resolving escalated client concerns and service-related issues.
- Support the implementation and refinement of systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership on initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen the organization.
- Minimum of five years of personal injury experience required.
- Previous experience managing a full personal injury caseload.
- Strong understanding of treatment management, liability investigations, records procurement, demand preparation, negotiations, and settlement procedures.
- Ability to analyze case progression and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to support, coach, and collaborate with team members in a professional environment.
- Experience with Filevine preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
