District Sales Manager

Position Overview

As a Commercial Sales Manager at Gordon Food Service in Houston, TX, you will lead a team of outside sales representatives and develop business plans to drive customer growth and profitability.

• Lead people: hire, develop and retain staff, create succession plans, provide coaching.
• Develop business plans and sales targets for individual reps and identify key objectives for customer focus, sales, staffing, profitability, and compliance.
• Engage with the industry and visit existing and future key customers.
• Participate in food shows, regional customer events, and customer trips to headquarters.

• Four or more years of sales or business experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid, unrestricted state driver's license and safe driving record.
• Must participate in vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels, if applicable.
