Position Summary:

An OTG Badging Manager is responsible for overseeing and administers the applications and verification documents, necessary to satisfy the Port Authority requirements for an airport badge in a timely manner. Interfaces with the Port Authority, the employees, the airport management, and the HR department and keeps track of and all terminal employee's badge status. Follows up to facilitate processing as needed and ensures internal tracking process is recorded.
Responsibilities:

Schedule monthly in house audits.
Schedules all Security classes for newly hired crew members, Managers and Executives.
Provides oral and written instructions to newly hired crew members regarding Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA) and fingerprinting process, including personal identification requirements
Communicates clearly for each newly hired crew member regarding the steps required on the Port Authority fingerprinting application
Travels to the Port Authority Administration Building for Issuing Officer related duties required
Records and maintains accurate badge data for the airport authority daily, weekly, monthly and or quarterly audits
Ensures that all OTG issued security badges are returned to the Port Authority at the point a crew member resigns or is involuntarily terminated
Responds to all Port Authority notifications regarding (BOR) Breach of Rules/Violation for OTG crew members
Acts as a liaison between OTG Management and the airport authority stakeholders regarding security related policies and procedures
Tracks and communicates the progression of newly hired crew members and managers through the badging process and reporting their status to the Management team on a weekly basis.
Communicates "badge ready" notifications to all Managers and TLs, and prepares "badge ready" letters
Notifies HR of issues and expiration dates of all new badges to ensure tracking data in HRB

Qualifications and Requirements:

Airport experience a plus
Process oriented
System exececution
Strong written and oral communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented
3 plus years' experience in administrative duties
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Sound decision-making skills
The ability to plan and prioritize
Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
Excellent MS Excel skills
Impeccable internal and external customer services skills
Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions
Pay Rate 60k - 70k
