Maintenance Superintendent

Overview

Airswift is currently seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for a long-term contract supporting a major LNG project in Houston, TX. This position provides leadership and strategic direction to Maintenance teams for their assigned activities with a focus on HSE, quality, cost management and activity duration.

• Lead HSE and Sustainability Safety Leader.
• Accountable for the safe execution of onsite maintenance work site through the stewardship of the WMS work management processes (MoC, ISSoW, OSC, Field Leadership, GSR's, FP6, Risk Management, Critical Control Management, etc.).
• Qualified for Advanced PSCR role within 12 months.
• Deliver business results: ensure teams’ activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a quality standard that ensures high reliability.
• Develop and forecast the team’s annual budgets.
• Deliver sustainable top quartile business outcomes through continuous improvement and quality delivery.
• Define and lead new ways of working that deliver improved performance via maintenance management procedures.
• Support the maintenance build and review of EPC and Maintenance contractors’ deliverables.
• Build and assess maintenance team capability and succession planning.
• Ensure all team members’ development plans are in place and continuously progressed.
• Manage and oversee maintenance team training & competency requirements.

• Accountable for team performance by setting clear expectations and managing the team accordingly.
• Accountable for the team culture and the health and wellbeing of all team members.
• Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the role.

• Trade Certificate and/or Higher Education and/or Professional Qualification.
• Skilled level of competence in maintenance processes.
• Knowledge level of competence in SAP CMMS.
• Skilled level of knowledge in maintenance/project management processes (HSEQ, planning, costing, materials, risk, contracting & resourcing).
• Skilled level of knowledge in budgeting and project management execution for large scale events.
• Ability to lead a multi-discipline team.
• Ability to influence and earn credibility across all levels of the organization.
• Strong business acumen and agility to make good business decisions in a timely manner under trying conditions.
• Knowledge in LNG operations, process and equipment.
• 10+ years’ experience in same or similar role.
