Vice President of Accounting

We are partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead accounting operations across a multi-business-unit environment. This individual will report directly to the CFO and oversee a team of approximately 10–20 accounting and finance professionals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting leadership experience within industries such as construction, energy, industrial services, electrical, or instrumentation-related environments. Experience working in PE-backed organizations and leading ERP implementations across multiple entities is highly preferred.

• Lead all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, consolidations, compliance, and internal controls
• Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team on financial strategy and operational improvements
• Oversee accounting processes across multiple business units and drive standardization efforts
• Lead ERP implementation and integration initiatives across the organization
• Develop and mentor accounting teams while building scalable processes and controls
• Support budgeting, audit activities, and financial performance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Prior experience within a private equity-backed company required
• Background in construction, industrial services, engineering, electrical, energy, or related industries preferred
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-business-unit organizations
• ERP implementation or large-scale systems integration experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills

Competitive base salary plus target bonus opportunity (~30%) and equity participation.
