Overview
The Pricing Analyst will perform pricing and market analysis for AIT's ocean and air quotes products in order to optimize profit and meet marketing financial and growth objectives. This role will assist with RFQs, tenders, bids and market updates, along with coaching international operations on all air offerings as needed.
Responsibilities- Acts as a liaison with the internal customer in solving problems related to ocean / air shipments and service.
- Provide clear communication link between AIT, IC and ocean / air carriers and foreign offices.
- Prepare and put all quotes into Cargo Wise.
- Work in conjunction with the air and ocean product lead to provide most competitive solution design for the client.
- Work with airlines and steamship lines to negotiate and get spot rates or establish contract rates for specific origin and destination pairs.
- Design and rollout effective air trade lane programs for overseas agents / offices as well as building relationships with our internal offices and sales departments.
- Provide regular performance reports to management team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree (Required). - Experience:
5+ years Experience in Pricing Analytics (Required). - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer Skills (basic, knowledgeable, advanced) – needs to be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
