Job DescriptionTo establish and maintain accurate registration records.
Qualifications- Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED; qualify for appropriate state paraprofessional certification

Demonstrate interest and aptitude; strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail; self‑motivated and independent; pleasant telephone personality; cooperative with stakeholders; understanding of math and record‑keeping; computer skills; good typing; bilingual preferred. - Experience: None.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
- Register all new students and input their information into the computer.
- Maintain and update student demographic information in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain a system to request, send, and track student files.
- Request records via TREx or by fax if the student is from out of state.
- Prepare and process withdrawals and secure all supporting documentation such as grades and parent letters.
- Assist parents, students, and personnel with questions regarding student registration.
- Verify students’ addresses when campus mail is returned or undeliverable.
- Complete transaction logs and run reports requested by the principal.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and the local board policy.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Maintain technology competence to meet current and future needs.
- Implement alternative methods of instruction as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EvaluationPerformance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board’s policy on evaluation of Non-Instructional Paraprofessional Personnel.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsTools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals.
Posture: Standing, prolonged sitting, occasional kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may also require climbing stairs and reaching over head.
Lifting: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting (15-45 pounds).
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent district wide travel; campuses are temperature controlled with hard surface floors.
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
