Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Account Manager on a day‑to‑day basis and communicate with the Huntleigh USA Office as needed or required
  • Overall supervision of all Huntleigh USA/IAH operations at the assigned airport and other ancillary locations, including, as applicable per location, wheelchair passenger services and other services under the position’s immediate responsibility
  • Maintain adequate staffing and scheduling to fulfill daily operational requirements and forecast staffing for future needs to ensure optimum operational performance and maximum allowable billings
  • Ensure complete accuracy and timeliness of payroll records and pay system submissions, as well as legally compliant and audit‑satisfactory personnel and training files
  • Report all unusual events and circumstances to the Account Manager/General Manager in real time
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations applicable to the operation; equally responsible for all Airline and Huntleigh policies and procedures enforcement
  • Liaise with client airlines, all airlines at the assigned airport, government employees, and employees of the airport authority
  • Ensure regular and timely communication of new security directives, policies, and procedures to maintain a constant flow of meaningful information to employees, clients, and the Account Manager/General Manager
  • Demonstrate consistently high interpersonal skill to handle sensitive and confidential matters with employees and clients, requiring professional diplomacy and problem‑solving skills
  • Manage all matters related to labor union(s) or collective bargaining agreements for the site, as applicable
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • Clear and verifiable employment record
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or possess a valid work permit
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred or relevant aviation operations (or related aviation security, military, or other applicable client services) experience of at least two to five years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent broad set of management skills—operations, finance, human resources, administration, and, as applicable, technology—capable of working independently as a leader in a fast‑paced, often fast‑changing environment and industry
  • Prefer at least a working knowledge and skill set of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Must be able to ensure continual attention to a wide range of details, establish and work priorities, and meet all deadlines within the scope of the position
