Our client is a well‑established international marine technical services organization seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a significant business unit through its next phase of growth. This executive will be responsible for driving commercial success, strengthening operational performance, and building a culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

The General Manager – Marine Technical Services will work closely with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives while maintaining exceptional service delivery and financial performance.

• Provide overall leadership for a multi-disciplinary business operation with full financial accountability.
• Develop and execute business strategies that increase profitability, market share, and long‑term customer value.
• Lead, coach, and develop an experienced management team while fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, performance measurement, and resource optimization.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers while identifying opportunities to expand existing business and develop new markets.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial reporting to achieve established performance objectives.
• Ensure operational excellence through effective planning, risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate emerging market trends and competitive dynamics to identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Champion employee engagement, succession planning, and leadership development across the organization.
• Promote a culture centered on safety, integrity, collaboration, and customer service.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience managing complex service or operational businesses.
• Demonstrated success leading organizations with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience developing customer relationships and growing revenue.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change while improving operational performance.
• Experience managing multiple functional disciplines, including operations, finance, sales, and people leadership.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Experience in marine operations, industrial services, engineering, maritime infrastructure, environmental services, manufacturing, offshore services, energy, testing and inspection, or other technically driven service businesses will be viewed favorably.
