We are seeking a performance-driven District Manager who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, driving business results, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare. This role is responsible for leading a district sales team, developing and executing district business strategies, coaching and developing field representatives, and ensuring the successful achievement of sales and business objectives across the assigned geography.

This position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and motivate others while navigating a complex healthcare environment. The District Manager will partner closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to execute client initiatives, optimize district performance, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing team of pharmaceutical sales representatives.
  • Create and execute strategic and tactical district business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals, market share objectives, and client expectations.
  • Lead by example through regular field coaching, providing timely feedback to strengthen selling skills, clinical knowledge, business acumen, and overall representative effectiveness.
  • Monitor district performance metrics, analyze business trends, and implement action plans to maximize results and address opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous development while recognizing and rewarding high performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, establish development plans, and manage employee performance in accordance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, customers, and client stakeholders throughout the district.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Training, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Human Resources, and other cross-functional partners to execute business initiatives and ensure organizational alignment.
  • Ensure all district activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, client expectations, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Manage district budgets, forecasting, business reporting, and administrative responsibilities while maintaining accurate documentation and CRM data.
  • Travel throughout the district to coach representatives, support customer engagements, and attend regional and national meetings.
What Do You Need for This Position?
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of sales leadership or people management experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining top sales talent while achieving district business objectives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze business performance, develop strategic action plans, and execute against sales goals.
