Facilities Project Manager
The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facilities maintenance and improvement projects across the organization. This role requires strong skills in project reporting, documentation, analytics, and the use of project management software and automation tools.
The Facilities Project Manager ensures that all projects are accurately tracked, updated, and reflected in dashboards and reporting systems. The position reports directly to the Facilities Superintendent and plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring project transparency, and supporting data driven decision making within the Facilities Division.
Essential duties and responsibilities include managing and coordinating facilities maintenance and capital improvement projects from initiation through completion, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation using project management software and Microsoft Office tools, tracking project progress, milestones, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely updates and accurate reporting, building and maintaining dashboards, automated workflows, and reporting tools using Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel-based analytics, preparing professional project reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support project execution and resolve operational challenges, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining organized project records, documentation, and audit-ready files, supporting continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project data and identifying opportunities for process optimization, and assisting the Facilities Superintendent with strategic planning, workload forecasting, and resource allocation.
