JOB DESCRIPTION Project Manager-Decarbonized Energy primary purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is specialized in natural gas, crude, NGL and CO2 to join our Project Management Team (PMT). Tallgrass Project Management Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best-in-class capital projects. PMT is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

This will involve leading engineering, design, procurement, and construction of various sizes ($), types, and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion-dollar mega projects.

This role will provide leadership, direction, and effective project management to ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations. Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Plans, organizes, manages, and controls projects with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements with an adherence to Federal Regulations and company standards.

• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering, from an accredited university with 15+ years' experience would be considered.

• Minimum of 15 years' experience, typically 10+ years of relevant supervisory, project management, and/or technical experience in engineering or project management.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Director of Lump Sum EPC Projects is required.
• 10+ years Commissioning & Start-up experience.
• 10+ years of experience with large-scale industrial gas plants.
• Must have executed at least one Major Capital Project with a TIC of USD 500MM.
• Must have extensive experience in developing Major Projects with a development portfolio of USD 1 Billion or more.
• Must have full complement of project management skills including project scoping and estimating utilizing work breakdown structures, cost and schedule control, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement and permitting.
• Must be able to understand the needs of the business unit(s) for which development work is being performed.
• Must possess basic understanding of midstream and downstream projects.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to the ability to present ideas, proposals, and results to business segment leaders and to internal and external customers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, including tracking and managing large projects, and see projects to completion while maintaining strict confidentiality (as necessary).
• Must possess general understanding of how corporate policies, procedures, practices, and processes relate to the Pipeline business segment, associated business units and internal and external customers.
• Understanding of basic economic analysis as it pertains to project justification.
• Ability to identify and establish expectations in an employee/employer relationship (subordinate/manager).
• Solid leadership, communication, motivation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage projects(s) that will include working with individuals with varying disciplines, backgrounds, and experience levels.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations and agencies such as EPA, PHMSA, DOT, OSHA, and various state counterparts.
• Familiarity with DOT, NEC, ASME, API, and ASTM and other specifications, standards, and recommended practices typical in the natural gas or hazardous liquid transportation industry.
• Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

• Must be able to deal effectively with people and resolve conflicts and problems.
• Must possess well-developed interpersonal skills to manage, lead and direct Tallgrass and third-party personnel.
• Able to analyze financial and cost data and develop conclusions and recommendations.
• Ability to accept direction from others, work effectively and cooperatively with others.
• Must possess strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with both company and contract employees.
