  • Lead and manage the company-wide Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program across fleet operations, terminals, facilities, and field locations.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing EHS team while driving a proactive, hands-on safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, USCG, TCEQ, and local regulations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials transportation, petroleum/fuel storage, air permitting, emissions, spill prevention, and hazardous waste management.
  • Conduct and oversee site audits, facility inspections, vehicle inspections, environmental compliance reviews, and operational safety assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, regulatory reporting, and follow-up initiatives to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.
  • Provide hands-on EHS training and coaching to drivers, terminal employees, operations teams, and leadership, including hazmat handling and emergency response.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response, SPCC, spill prevention, and preparedness programs, including drills and response coordination.
  • Track EHS metrics, audit findings, incident trends, training completion, and environmental performance to identify improvement opportunities and drive accountability.
Education:
  • Seeking an experienced EHS leader with strong DOT hazmat transportation and OSHA knowledge
  • Texas/TCEQ and fuel or petroleum distribution experience preferred. CDS, CSP, ASP, CHMM, or related certifications are a plus.
  • Formal education (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
