Traffic Control Services & Equipment (TCS&E) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow our Houston operations. This is an opportunity to build a business—not just manage one.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, customer relationships, field personnel, scheduling, equipment utilization, estimating support, and profitability while helping expand TCS&E throughout Texas.
Responsibilities- Lead all day-to-day field operations.
- Manage Crew Leads, Supervisors, and field personnel.
- Coordinate scheduling, manpower, and equipment deployment.
- Build relationships with contractors, utilities, municipalities, and industrial customers.
- Review project profitability and labor efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, OSHA, MUTCD, and company safety standards.
- Assist with estimating, project planning, and resource allocation.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members.
- Help grow the Texas operation through outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
- Previous management experience in traffic control, roadway construction, utilities, or related industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing employees, schedules, and equipment.
- Knowledge of traffic control operations and work zone safety.
- Experience with estimating, project management, or operations management is preferred.
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
