Our client is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Site Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two aerospace manufacturing facilities, generating $70M in annual revenue and employing 130 people
.
Reporting to the VP / General Manager
, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for operational performance across both sites, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, continuous improvement, and people leadership
.
The role does not currently carry direct P&L responsibility, but is designed as a key feeder into broader General Management and future P&L ownership
.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the leadership teams and workforce across both facilities.
- Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
- Ensure manufacturing capacity and resources support customer and business requirements.
- Develop a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to deliver business objectives.
- Work closely with the VP / GM to develop broader commercial and financial leadership capability.
Ideal Background
- Proven Plant / Operations leadership experience within aerospace, defence, or precision manufacturing
. - Experience managing complex manufacturing operations, ideally across multiple sites.
- Strong people leadership and continuous improvement credentials.
- Experience with titanium alloys and stainless steels highly desirable.
- Exposure to forging, thread rolling and heat treatment would be advantageous.
- Ambitious, commercially minded leader looking to progress toward P&L / General Management responsibility
