' Medicaid State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) program for low-income children and pregnant women
' Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the children of low-income parents, which includes CHIP Perinatal benefits for unborn children of pregnant women who do not qualify for Medicaid STAR
' Health Insurance Marketplace Plans that offer individual health coverage that includes preventive care, emergency services, prescription drugs, and hospitalization available to all, regardless of pre-existing conditions.

JOB SUMMARYThe Manager, Marketing Communication (MCM) leads the development, implementation, and alignment of Community Health Choices internal and external communication strategies.
This role supports membership growth, employee engagement, and brand consistency across all lines of business and platforms, including digital and social media.
The MCM is responsible for creating annual communication plans, setting strategic goals, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring timely reporting.
The role oversees messaging for members, prospective members, employees, and stakeholders ensuring alignment with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives.
This position manages internal communication (e.g. employee engagement campaign support, Corporate Town Halls, and leadership events) and coordinates external efforts with vendors and delegated entities.
The MCM also provides direct supervision to communication staff and contractors, fostering team development and performance excellence.
Develops and executes enterprise-wide communication strategies aligned with the organization's mission, marketing objectives, and membership goals.
Leads strategic planning efforts, sets performance metrics (KPIs), monitors outcomes, and recommends optimizations.
Oversee editorial calendar development and enterprise-wide communication plans, including for members, providers, brokers, delegates, employees, and external audiences.
Oversee external messaging to ensure alignment with brand standards and regulatory guidelines.
Manages communications with vendors, delegates, and partners to ensure consistency across all platforms.
Maintains brand integrity across all communication and promotional initiatives.
Develops internal communication strategies that support employee engagement and reinforce brand values.
Manage enterprise-wide internal campaigns, messaging, and leadership communications such as town halls and engagement initiatives.
Creates and manages messaging tailored to multiple audiences across traditional, digital, and social channels.
Applies innovative thinking to develop tiered, audience-focused communication plans that are responsive to organizational priorities.
Develops and oversees project plans for communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, resourcing, and cross-functional coordination.
Leads communication work streams, ensuring quality deliverables and accountability.
Provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to communication staff and contractors.
