Job SummaryThe Import Manager is responsible for Customs compliance, growth of business, development andprofitabilityof department in accordance with annual business plan and b udgets.

Employee development goals, performance, productivity and morale - Assumes accountability for:

Meeting/exceeding all corporate performance KPI’s - Assumes accountability for:
Accurate billing practices - Responsible for profitability through:
Budget monitoring - Responsible for profitability through:
Cash flow analysis( A/R,COTS,ACH,Open Job ) - Responsible for profitability through:
Performance monitoring( Radar reports ) - Responsible for profitability through:
Market/customer analysis - Responsible for profitability through:
Preparation of quotations for new/existing business - Responsible for all regulatory issues within the department such as classifications, port entry and problem resolution. Coordinated effort under direction of the Regional Compliance Manager.
- Provide sales support as necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience, 2 in a managerial/supervisory position
- 2 years of college and/or an additional 2 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of Transportation industry, Import/Global transportation/Regulatory and business development
- Standard hours and additional time as necessary
- A current CHB license is required and candidate is expected to be office QLH (Qualified License Holder)
- Must maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
