CNC Lathe Operator
Location:

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (may extend with workload)
Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on experience)

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Lathe Operator to join a high-performing manufacturing team supporting oilfield operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
If you have strong CNC Lathe experience, understand oilfield threading standards, and can run jobs independently from setup to completion, this is an opportunity to grow with a stable and respected operation.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and run CNC lathe and mill machines independently
- Machine oil and gas components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Work with API, Premium threads, and oilfield threading standards
- Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- 2-4 years of CNC Lathe experience in a machine shop environment
- 1+ year machining Premium Threading Connections (must have)
- Strong knowledge of CNC setup through production
- Experience machining oil and gas or other precision components
- Ability to run jobs from print to completion
- Experience editing CNC programs (G-code or conversational)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with Fanuc, Okuma OSP, or similar controls
- Knowledge of oil and gas materials
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
