Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (may extend with workload)
Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Lathe Operator to join a high-performing manufacturing team supporting oilfield operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

If you have strong CNC Lathe experience, understand oilfield threading standards, and can run jobs independently from setup to completion, this is an opportunity to grow with a stable and respected operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and run CNC lathe and mill machines independently
  • Machine oil and gas components to tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Work with API, Premium threads, and oilfield threading standards
  • Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of CNC Lathe experience in a machine shop environment
  • 1+ year machining Premium Threading Connections (must have)
  • Strong knowledge of CNC setup through production
  • Experience machining oil and gas or other precision components
  • Ability to run jobs from print to completion
  • Experience editing CNC programs (G-code or conversational)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Fanuc, Okuma OSP, or similar controls
  • Knowledge of oil and gas materials
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
