Production Associate; 1st Shift

Schedule Hours

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (hours may vary depending on operations).

$17.50 per hour.

• Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Assist CPU customers.
• Takes loading photos.
• Uploads loading photos.
• Scans loading documentation.
• Utilizes scanning equipment.
• Assist with location job order on the production floor.
• Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment.
• Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load.
• Assists with inventory counts as required.
• Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area.
• Inspects work visually for defects according to Quality Systems.
• Provides cost‑saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste.
• Willing/able to work overtime.
• Can read, write, and follow posted schedules.
• May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift.
• Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane.
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
