This person will lead manufacturing activities across multiple locations. This person must be a strategic leader, as they will develop and execute comprehensive strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities- Collaborating with the EHS&S Manager, lead EHS & Process Safety Management related activities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals and market demands.
- Build and mentor a high-performing manufacturing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Implement best practices to develop, support and retain manufacturing team members across multiple states.
- Lead all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and quality standards at assigned plants.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction while maintaining quality and safety.
- Coach Plant Managers to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures to optimize manufacturing expenditures.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate closely with other departments such as HR, R&D, engineering, and sales to align manufacturing with product development and market demands.
- Champion a culture of demonstrating our Core Principles, along with continuous improvement, initiating and overseeing lean manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 8 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing operations.
- Track record of utilizing exceptional leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing methodologies and driving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and quality management systems.
- Ability to perform long-term project planning with meaningful timelines and budget forecasting.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and technology to drive operational improvements.
