Job Summary:
Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. They will lead a team of production supervisors, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven record of accomplishment in improving productivity and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department
* Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and group leads
* Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and production goals
* Monitor production processes and adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and quality
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
* Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
* Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing management
* Prepare and present reports on production performance and initiatives
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Requirements
* Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
* Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems
* Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to analyze data and use it to drive performance improvements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
* Knowledge of electrical control panel manufacturing is preferred
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
