• Independently set up, program (as applicable), and operate 5-axis CNC machines

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and metric-based specifications

• Perform precision machining to tight tolerances

• Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools

• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime

• Make tool offsets and adjustments as needed to ensure part quality

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines

• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work area

• Extensive experience operating and setting up 5-axis CNC machines

• Strong understanding of GD&T and precision machining principles

• Proficiency with metric measurements and inspection tools

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills for machine input and documentation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality

• Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing

• Vocational or technical certification in CNC machining

• Experience with multi-axis or complex part production
