Test Engineer Assistant; G-Project

Main Function

• EQUIPMENT SELECTION: Specify machine type, expected throughput, expected yields, and required equipment manning; liaise with customers to understand specific needs and requirements.
• EQUIPMENT PERFORMANCE: Ensure all manufacturing equipment meets supplier specifications and quotation requirements, achieving targets, yields, and quality.
• TESTER MAINTENANCE: Oversee ongoing maintenance, including planned preventive schedules, line support for breakdowns, and major machine overhauls; forecast, stock, and order spare parts and consumables.
• NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION: Manage startup responsibilities to ensure test processes operate as designed, prove through puts and yields, and finalize manufacturing handover for volume production.
• QUALITY: Collaborate with the Quality group to establish product‑by‑product quality plans and involve in ongoing problem resolution with testers, software, and processes.
• TEAMWORK: Coordinate with all departments, acting as a proactive team member and leading on all test‑related issues.
• DOCUMENTATION: Provide complete process documentation and test programs for production build; maintain accurate tester and fixture pin‑out listings.
• ECN ACTIVITY: Participate in change‑control meetings and implement approved changes into test processes.
• TEST EQUIPMENT: Manage major test equipment movements and installations, negotiate third‑party service contracts, and maintain adequate inventory of spares and consumables.
• QUOTATIONS/TOOLING: Specify and order test fixtures for new customers, and include any non‑recurring expenses to be charged back.
• MEASUREMENTS: Track categories such as test yields, false failure rate, system uptime/downtime, on‑time delivery fulfillment, and spares inventory, reporting weekly.
• CUSTOMER FOCUS: Deliver customer satisfaction internally and externally through quality products, services, and communication.

• Relevant IT education.
• Strong PC and network operation and installation skills.
• Windows and Linux installation and operation knowledge.
• Intermediate English (written and spoken).
• 1 year experience in a relevant IT field.
