Heavy Industrial Sandblaster Job Location
Houston, TX 77015
Pay Rate$16.00 per hour
Shift- Full-time position
- Overtime available and expected
- Must be flexible to work extended hours and Saturdays as needed
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Industrial Sandblaster to prepare and clean metal surfaces used in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced shop setting.
Responsibilities- Perform heavy industrial sandblasting on metal materials and equipment
- Prepare surfaces for coating, painting, or production processes
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, move, and stage materials using a forklift
- Inspect materials before and after blasting
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE
- Assist with additional warehouse or production duties as assigned
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous heavy industrial sandblasting experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial shop environment
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices
- Experience handling metal materials and equipment
- Weekly pay
