Job Summary

Clean, inspect, and prepare LKQ products for shipment and delivery of high‑quality parts to our customers.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Clean parts – buff small parts, power wash the drivetrain, and clean panels with soap and water.
  • Inspect parts – match description and quality to how they were inventoried.
  • Communicate with sales reps – use email and/or phone to describe any discrepancies in quality or inventory of the part.
  • Prepare for shipment – protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place them in a cardboard box; wrap bumpers with a protective cover and place doors in racks divided by foam pads.
  • Load semi‑trailers going to other LKQ facilities – prepare racks with panels and small parts to be loaded on semi‑trailers via a forklift.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 0+ years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift experience.
Skills / Abilities
  • Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Compute rates, ratios, and percentages; draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Communicate messages orally and in brief written form; keep simple records.
  • Explain and offer guidance on routine procedures.
  • Resolve routine problems by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Prioritize assigned routine tasks and handle appropriately.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods. May be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions, including extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be required to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles.

Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays.
