Sandblaster​/Painter

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Sandblaster responsible for operating abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for processes such as painting or coating. This position requires close attention to job order specifications and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure quality and workplace safety.

• Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean, etch, or smooth metal surfaces
• Prepare work pieces and the work area for blasting operations
• Select and load appropriate abrasive media based on project specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment as needed
• Inspect surfaces to ensure quality and accuracy to specifications
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
• Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines
• Operate a forklift or other material‑handling equipment if required

• Knowledge of heavy industrial sandblasting equipment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and handling heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic communication and teamwork skills

• Previous experience in sandblasting or industrial surface preparation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders
• Forklift certification
• OSHA safety certification
• Experience with industrial metal painting or coating
