Radiographic Test Inpector
LOCATION:
Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Inspector
Performs inspections on pipes identifying and marking defects when found, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
* Executes change over and set up of the X-Ray equipment and revealing equipment.
* Prepares X-Ray plates according to quality procedures.
* Identifies and positions pipes.
* Settles X-Ray plates on pipes.
* Performs machine operation.
* Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (revealing fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
* Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
Schedule:
This position will be required to work on a rotating shift and to work overtime, holidays, shifts and weekends (if needed).
Preferred skills:
* Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
* Familiar with operating a forklift
* Familiar with operating an overhead crane
* Familiar with NDT Techniques (Magnetic Particles, Visual Inspection)
* Ability to work in a team and maintain a good attitude
* Familiar with ERW process and the Tubing Industry
