* project duration: approximately 3-4 months
schedule: both the day shift and the night shift are available to fill. Ideally, we want candidates who have the availability to work either shift.
- day shift - 5:00 am to 5:30 pm (30-minute lunch)
- night shift - 5:00 pm to 5:00 am (30-minute lunch)
*** the start and end time of the shift will depend on part arrivals**
* on-site bend test will be required during the on-site interview. Candidates do not need to bring their own tools. Former workers do not need to be retested.
top skills/experience required (must be shown on all resumes):
- previous instrumentation experience in swagelok stainless steel tubing
- tubing ranges from a quarter inch to 1 inch- hydraulic power unit (hpu) experience
- ability to read hydraulic schematics
- ability to fit, cut, and bend stainless steel tubing without errors
- 2-3 years of experience in oil and gas is highly preferred
- previous experience with nov's competitors such as cameron, schlumberger with hpu, surface equipment and land equipment experience
- previous experience working with swagelok (brand) stainless steel tubing - high quality tubing is highly preferred
primary responsibilities:
- plan layout and installation in accordance with instructions or work requirements using drawings, blueprints, sketches and manual.
- measures thread, cuts and assemble cable tray and cable tray support systems.
- install tubing and clamps into cable tray systems.
- measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install tubing and piping.
- plan and coordinate daily work with limited supervision.
- perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- comply with all nov company and hse policies and procedures
facility/group specific responsibilities:
- utilize hand, hydraulic, and power tools.
- drill and tap holes in structures and attach brackets, guards, etc. Per the assemble drawing.
- operate man lifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, band saws, hose cutting/crimping devices, pressure pumps, and hydraulic pumping units when necessary.
- inspect and maintain tools.
- follow all 6s guidelines and ensure that they are met.
physical demands:
- able to lift 30 lbs.
- work at heights up to 65 feet
- will be standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday.
- work in a non-climate control environment.
