Pay: $20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Openwork is hiring an experienced Packaging Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Houston. This is a great opportunity for individuals with packaging and forklift experience who enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment with long-term career potential.

Responsibilities:

• Verify pallets and products are properly labeled and traceable.
• Package finished products accurately according to company standards.
• Confirm counts, measurements, and product specifications.
• Operate forklifts safely to move and stage materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area.
• Follow all PPE, safety, and ISO procedures.
• Support production and shipping needs as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience required.
• Strong forklift operating skills (testing required during interview).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Safety & Work Environment Requirements:

This facility works with lead material and follows strict safety protocols. Employees must be able to:

• Wear a half-mask respirator during work hours.
• Shower daily following shifts.
• Participate in blood testing every 6 months.
• Follow all company operating procedures and safety guidelines.

The facility is climate controlled and equipped with spot coolers to support employee comfort.
