Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hour plus OT

Electronics Assembly Technician (PCB Assembly & Soldering) Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and electromechanical products using assembly instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Perform precision SMT and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies
- Conduct PCB and PCBA rework, repair, and modification activities as needed
- Route, terminate, and solder wiring while maintaining proper strain relief and workmanship standards
- Install mechanical and cosmetic hardware using hand tools, torque drivers, and assembly equipment
- Apply adhesives, epoxies, and related materials used in electronic manufacturing processes
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
- Perform electrical continuity checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Utilize multimeters and other electronic test equipment to verify product functionality and workmanship
- Assist with thermal testing, functional testing, and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) activities
- Maintain accurate production records and update work order documentation
- Disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble prototype and production units as required
- Maintain an organized and efficient workstation while following quality and safety procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within assembly and testing operations
Skills and Abilities
:
- Strong SMT and through-hole soldering skills
- Ability to perform fine-detail assembly work using hand tools and precision equipment
- Experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
- Knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes
- Experience applying adhesives, epoxies, conformal coatings, or similar materials preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related software platforms preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of electronics assembly, soldering, or electronics manufacturing experience preferred
- IPC-A-610 certification strongly preferred
- Class 3 soldering experience preferred
- Experience performing SMT and through-hole rework preferred
- Experience using multimeters and electronic testing equipment preferred
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, oilfield technology, aerospace, or related environments is a plus
