Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable OEM Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products, ensuring all components are correctly assembled, tested, and packaged according to company specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly Operations
:
Assemble OEM products and parts using various hand tools, power tools, and automated machinery following assembly instructions and blueprints. - Component Inspection
:
Inspect incoming parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards before beginning the assembly process. - Product Testing
:
Conduct tests on assembled products to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. - Quality Control
:
Maintain a high standard of product quality by adhering to company guidelines and performing regular quality checks during the assembly process. - Packaging
:
Package completed products efficiently and safely for shipping, ensuring all required labels and documentation are included. - Troubleshooting
:
Identify and resolve minor assembly or equipment issues to ensure smooth production flow. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with other assembly line workers, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet production targets and maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Documentation
:
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and any issues encountered during production.
- Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). - Experience
:
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role (preferred but not required). - Skills
:- Ability to read and interpret instructional blueprints.
- Basic Math skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automated assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them in a production environment.
- Physical Requirements
:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs., and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Manufacturing facility with noise levels typical for an industrial setting.
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, etc. required
