Job Details
Base pay starts at $18.50 per hour + $1.00 shift differential.
Shift
Hours:
4:30 pm - 1:00 am, hours may vary depending on operations.
(Training may occur during Day Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
- Knowledge of production techniques and ability to produce quality-building parts.
- Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment.
- Operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools.
- Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts and attach identification tags as required.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts.
- Maintain continuous improvement practices in work area.
- Stand and walk 8–12 hours daily.
- Handle repetitive material handling with occasional awkward body positioning.
- Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders.
- Work in varying and extreme conditions inside and outside (hot, cold, rain, shine).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
- Ability to use measuring gauges and read tape measures.
- Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift.
- Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane.
- Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

This is a position with potential overtime. Shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
